Remembering one of the greats.

Shel Silverstein was always one of my favorite writers to read when I was growing up. He was the primary reason I because excited about reading in the first place. When I got my first Libarary card, you can bet he was the first person I looked up in the card catologue. (yes I’m old, shut up)

Ah, yes. He was a genius in his own inimitable way. When Gobot was very young, he drew the bearded man cartoon and wrote the poem on a scrap of paper and gave it to me. He said that was me… I still have it. Thank you for reviving that sweet memory, ‘naga.
